DARRELL CHAMBERS

President

Creative Director

Darrell’s Our Founder.  He started VDO in 1987, after more than 15 years as a broadcast designer and design director of some of the south’s top television groups/stations.  He produced Emmy award-winning print and on-air graphics for Cox, Turner, and Gannett, before joining Media General’s big-gun WFLA, in Tampa.  Darrell’s still hands-on, but his greatest strength is in picking and leading design teams, so you’ll always have Our Founder, straight-shooting hard-working on your account.

DIANNE STREYER

VP & General Manager

Director of Sales

Don’t let Dianne’s easy breezy phone-style fool you, she’s got a solid background, starting in program production to broadcast creative services management at six different stations in markets across the country.  Before joining Darrell at VDO in 1989 she’d been director of advertising for several big corporations. An award-winning producer of TV and radio commercials, Dianne’s orchestrated a number of film shoots for national advertising and promotional campaigns, both pre-VDO and during.  She’s your organizer, list-maker and deadline-making scheduler on your project.  Dianne’s been the client so she’s your first, best contact when you work with us.

DIANE FIOLEK

Sr. Designer

A Michigander who earned her stripes starting with paste-up (as in real glue) and print design for a Detroit ad agency, she switched to broadcast design (her major at Michigan State) when she joined the highly-awarded design staff of Post Newsweek’s WDIV.  Later, Diane walked across the street to WXYZ, then Detroit’s ABC O&O as Director of Graphic and Scenic Design. During her ten-year stint there, Diane had the distinct honor of designing and producing graphics packaging and the set for the first-ever Presidential Town Meeting, with President Bill Clinton, she even had her picture in The New York Times.  Oh, and that’s among her other Emmys, Promax and BDA medals.

TRICIA RITCHIE

Sr. Designer

Tricia was doing just fine as a creative director for a print design firm specializing in illustration, package and exhibit design, you can still see Tricia’s work at all along the beach pitching new condo projects.  But when she decided to expand to motion design, Tricia picked VDO.  Since then, she’s picked up ten BDA medals for her work and added web graphics development, production and set design to her considerable repertoire of design skills.
